Dear Southern Boone School District Families,
As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself reflecting on the many things that make Southern Boone such a remarkable place to learn, work, and grow. This time of year naturally invites us to pause and appreciate the people and moments that make a difference—and our district has no shortage of those.
To our students:
You continue to inspire us with your resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Whether you're taking on a new challenge in class, competing with pride, or exploring your interests through clubs and activities, you bring excitement and purpose to our schools. Thank you for being the reason we do this work.
To our staff:
Every role in our district matters, and every day you show what it means to put students first. Your commitment, creativity, and care create the safe and supportive learning environment our children depend on. I am deeply grateful for your ongoing dedication and the countless ways you contribute to student success.
To our parents and families:
Your partnership strengthens our schools. The encouragement you give at home, your involvement at events, and your willingness to work alongside us make a meaningful impact. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting their growth in so many ways.
To our Southern Boone community:
Our district thrives because of the people who stand behind it. Local businesses, civic organizations, alumni, neighbors—you show time and again what community support truly looks like. Your generosity and involvement help us expand opportunities for students and elevate the work happening across our campuses.
As we enter the holiday season, I hope you find time to rest, reconnect, and enjoy the company of those you care about. I am truly thankful to serve this district and to be part of a community that values education and supports its schools so wholeheartedly.
Wishing you a safe and fulfilling Thanksgiving holiday.
Yours in Education,
Dr. Tim Roth School Superintendent
